Golf Days - 2025
Thank you for considering Royal Durban for your golf day.
Here at Royal Durban, we work on a sliding scale when it comes to green fees. The more players you bring, the less you pay per person. Final numbers need to be confirmed and paid for 1 week prior to the event to secure the best rate for your golf day.
GREEN FEES
Group of 40-60 players - R360.00 per Player
Group of 61-80 players - R340.00 per Player
Group of 81-100 players - R310.00 per Player
Group of 100+ players - R290.00 per Player
Course closure surcharge R10,000.00 (min 128 players)
TEE TIMES
Morning Field: 06h30 - 08h15
Afternoon Field: 11h00 - 12h45
Shotgun Starts: Our 2025 Golf Day Strategy has been reviewed, and one of the major changes we have implemented is a surcharge of R10 000 for a 12h00 shotgun start with a minimum charge of 100 players. This decision was made because we lose tee times in the morning to ensure that all players are off the golf course in time.
CARTS
R400.00 per cart
We have carts available, and these can be booked directly through our pro shop at 031 309 1373 on a first come first served basis. If you would like us to order additional carts, the total cost for hiring the carts, as well as the cost of hiring our entire cart fleet, will be immediately charged to the master account. The ordering of extra carts is subject to availability.
HALFWAY HOUSE
Our brilliant halfway house, Exploring Coffee, offers a variety of vouchers to suit every budget. Contact Vincent at vinny@exploringcoffee.co.za and she will be more than happy to assist you with any halfway requirements.
SPONSORS
Should you have sponsors on the course, all liquid refreshments must be purchased from the club. The organiser of golf day will receive order forms. Please ensure that the sponsors place their orders at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Light snacks such as biltong, peanuts, chips, and chocolates are allowed.
Any items more substantial, such as platters, boerewors rolls, sandwiches etc., must be ordered from our halfway house, Exploring Coffee. They can contact Vincent at vinny@exploringcoffee.co.za for more information.
VENUES - PRIZE GIVING
Our venues come free of charge when you book your golf day with us, the following venues are available for you:
Main Hall: Our main hall can accommodate 154 people but can be tailored to suit any size.
View Room: Our view room is perfect for small, intimate prize giving’s and can accommodate 40 people.
